Story Mapping in the Library

This week we tried our hand at Story Mapping, every class so far has been amazing at this!  After I have read the story we think about all the different parts in a Story Map, Title, Characters, Setting, Problem, Solution and the Theme.  Here is an example from Room 7.  We will continue to do this throughout the term with our read aloud story in the library.

  2. Hi Marama, I just contacted Jeannie to let her know that I loved this idea and intend to use it with my class. So simple and usable for any book. Love it. Thanks. I'll try to remember to show you an example when I'm underway. Tina Donnell, Kaipara Flats School
